Whether your masjid hosts conferences or general lectures open to everyone, it’s easy to find yourself reaching for a random notebook or loose sheet of paper — only to misplace it later or never return to your notes. Maybe you’re just starting your journey in seeking knowledge and everything still feels unfamiliar.
That’s exactly why we made this notebook — a dedicated space to capture your notes from general talks and reminders. It’s designed for everyone — whether you’ve never attended a gathering before or you’re someone who attends regularly.
If you’re new, this is a great place to start. You might not yet be familiar with the different Islamic sciences, or even know what to do when these lectures or conferences take place — and that’s completely fine. Start small and keep it simple. The goal of attending general lectures is to take away benefit. Even if you've never written notes in a gathering before, or aren’t used to bringing a notebook or pen to the masjid, that’s okay — this is your first step, in shā’ Allāh.
We had you in mind when creating this — a straightforward, no-fuss notebook where you can jot down key points and reminders from gatherings of khayr. Even if you’re not ready to write anything down just yet — still bring it with you. Sometimes simply having it with you is the beginning of building new habits.
